Bind with a passcode
Open BRICKS Foundation
Launch the BRICKS Foundation app on your device. The app displays a 9-character passcode on screen.
Open BRICKS Controller
Go to BRICKS Controller and navigate to Devices > Add Device.
The passcode refreshes periodically. If binding fails, wait for a new passcode and try again.
Bind with a QR code
Some devices display a QR code alongside the passcode. Scan the QR code with your phone to open BRICKS Controller with the passcode pre-filled.Verify the binding
After binding, your device appears in the BRICKS Controller device list with an online status indicator. You can now:- Assign applications to the device
- Monitor its status and connectivity
- Send commands and dispatch actions
- Take remote screenshots
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Passcode not accepted | Wait for a new passcode to generate and try again |
| Device shows offline after binding | Check the device’s network connection and restart the app |
| Device not appearing in Controller | Refresh the device list in BRICKS Controller |
